Natural Thyroid Diet

It is quite important to self-educate about the impact of a proper nutrition and eating habits. The natural thyroid diet implies eating various food, natural and fresh supplies that offer multiple nutrients that help the thyroid activity to be normal. Few advices:
  • for iodine it is recommended to eat Japanese sea vegetables as kombu, arama, wakame, and nori. The hormones for thyroid contain iodine which is critical for the gland's proper activity;
  • you need to cook around ten minutes your brassica vegetables which contian goitrogens; these prevent the iodine to be overabsorbed, and vegetables from this category are broccoli, sweet potatoes, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, and mustard greens;
  • genuine soy products are good for thyroid adjustment too, and you can find soy in tofu, natto, miso and boiled soy beans (edamame);
  • we also recommend you to eat selenium food as asparagus, grains, garlic and mushrooms; this chemical activates the thyroid hormones.
